The last couple of days have been so much fun. In fact, the last ten days have been great. We got to see a Reds ballgame that they won, watch Kyle graduate with many honors from Fern Creek High School, celebrate our 53rd wedding anniversary in Cincinnati for a couple of days, partied with Kyle for his graduation along with his friends & family, had Linda and Jim here for one night, and found our guest had completely cleaned the “blue house” before they left today…a first and most appreciated. They even had all the towels and sheets washed and dried with a promise they’d’ be back next year, if not sooner. Now that’s the kind of guest we have but they sure topped any others by far. Life has been good to us and we are so blessed!!! Thank you, Lord.
This will be a HOT week but I will not complain ’cause it sure beats the cold and snow of winter. Tyler and Blake will both be in a tournament in Lexington starting on Thursday…so we’ll get to enjoy LOTS of ballgames this week. The Gabeharts will be here on Thursday night…possibly Friday night, too…and then Carter and Lori will be here on Saturday but will have to go back home on Sunday. To bad we had rented out the “blue house” back in January but we’ll make it work in our sweet little house. Makes for memories that will get better as the years fly by!
We heard that our nephew, Buddy, has been under the weather lately and we’d sure appreciate your praying for him. He’s a very special man and loved by everyone that meets him. Also, our daughter-in-law, Vanessa, has had lots of issues lately due to her lupus and, again, prayers on her behalf would be appreciated. Clark’s arm is healing nicely but he still has a ways to go to be back to 100%. Thankfully, George and I continue to remain healthy for old folks and loving life. George continues to make lots of pretty stuff in his shop and that’s good. I still putter most days and knit when the mood hits me and I will finish this sweater before winter…maybe.
Have a good week and love to you all.
Blessings….
