The days are flying by…..

This week has absolutely flown by and I can’t put my finger on why?  Last weekend was a fun time at Kyle’s party and then Linda and Jim coming home with us for the one night, but nothing else of importance happen…that I can remember.  Of course, we always get to clean the “blue house”, do yard work, clean on our house at least some each week, knit or do some wood working, and we manage to sit on the front porch and talk to those coming up/down the street every day.  See how exciting our lives are?  Currently we are going to baseball games since Tyler and Blake are in the same tournament…different locations and not against each other…but we do like to watch them play.  Both are very good ball players and love the sport so it’s fun even if they lose…get to see Melissa, too!  Carter and Lori will be here tomorrow…maybe Madi tonight..and we’re looking forward to spending some time with them.

Buddy is doing better and they have been able to get his sugar count back into an acceptable range, for the most part.  He’s a “non-complainer” and accepts that he has to be stuck four times each day without comment.  Vanessa is also doing better and we pray she will stay that way…Clark’s arm continues to heal and he’s ready to get all this behind him…the twins are playing T-ball and are adorable…Madi is back running track and doing well so far with no broken bones, etc…Ryan has a new job and we pray this will be a good fit for him…Chase is still in training for the special forces…and all others are doing fine and nothing to talk about at this point.

Linda Lou had a birthday this week, Buddy and Michael will have birthdays tomorrow (Saturday), and we have several others waiting to celebrate their special day within the next couple of weeks.

Guess I need to get myself in gear and ready to go to the ball games…they may all get rained out…and the humidity is a real killer so let’s pray today will be another fun day!  Gotta love this Kentucky weather of HOT, HUMID, HAZY ’cause it’s still so much better than cold, snow, and wind chill.  Love to you all.

Blessings…..
