Can’t believe it’s almost April…time sure flies once you get past 50 +!
We continue to chip away at our many chores of eliminating our “treasures”. I am currently working on the kitchen and getting rid of things I haven’t used in years. Again where did all that stuff come from? Why did I ever feel the need to own it? Some things are a “What is it?” item so that’s a really big mystery as to why I’ve kept it for this long.
The wash/utility room is FINISHED and it looks so nice. George did a good job on the painting…I did a little of the trim so I get some credit for how it looks…and it’s amazing what a little paint can do to brighten up a room.Â
Our garage is going to be over flowing if we don’t have a yard sale soon. The more we pile the stuff up the better the “We like your junk” guys sound. I wonder if they charge for coming to get your stuff, or do they just take it cause they like junk?
We are going to the Smoky Mts on Monday and will get back home Thursday afternoon…got to be home in time for Ryan’s Quick Recall Banquet.  Tanya and her children are going with us…it’s spring break for them…but Daniel has to stay home and work. We’re looking forward to our time together and hope we can do some hiking to one of the many waterfalls available.
I am really enjoying my Beth Moore class called Loving Well. She is really a gifted speaker and truly has a heart for God. I will miss this next week, because of our trip, but I hope to catch it the next week with a class that’s a week behind ours. It’s only a four week class so I don’t want to miss any of the video’s. Those reading this blog…take this class if it’s available to you. It’s well worth the time and the out of class journal is very easy to complete in 15 minutes or less each day.
George is running the 3rd leg of the triple crown tomorrow and it’s a ten miler. I worry about him on these long distance races, but he seems to thrive on doing them so pray he will recover quickly. I have no desire to ever run any race! I’ll walk a 5K but that’s my limit.
It’s beautiful in KY with all the blooming trees and spring flowers. It’s amazing how quickly they all opened up once we got a few consistant days of 75 + weather. Of course, they’re saying we may get a frost the end of next week, so that will end all their beauty.
Have a blessed weekend and enjoy the spring beauty in your area!

Have a good time on your trip.
Sometime during the day on Monday, if you remember, say a prayer for me, my second epidural (at 10:00). The first one sure is working. Still have some pain (after all it is broken! HA!) but nothing like I did. I realized the other day I have a sway to my walk (hips) that I have not had for over a year!!
Love ya, Wj
May you arise each morning to the glories of His goodness,
And go to sleep each evening in the shadow of His smile.
