It appears that I have neglected writing on this blog for quite a few days now. I have been busy…at least some of the time…and just didn’t get around to it.
We had so much fun with Scott, Allison, Neyland, and Turner. The boys are so cute and are such good boys. We went to see the Reds play ball on Thursday even though it was rainy and quite cool. Of course, the Reds managed to loose again!
The boys started kindergarten today and that seems almost impossible. They were very excited about going and I know they will do well as they are very smart. Mom said she survived and still waiting to hear how Scott did. That is an emotional day, for sure.
We, also, got a new picture of Jesse and he’s a cutie. They all seem to be doing OK but who really knows.
School starts tomorrow for both Melissa’s and Tanya’s kids. They are ready to go back…even though they hate to admit it…and Kyle leaves for WKU next week so lots of changes will be going on with both families.
We continue to stay busy with the “blue house” and have done really well this year…thank goodness. Other than that, George continues to make beautiful items in his work shop, while I continue to knit, or crochet, when I feel I have the time…like most every day. We seem to stay healthy, for the most partt, but it does take us longer to do some things. Life of a retired person gets exciting on some days just trying to remember what it is you’re doing and why?
Linda Lou is healing well but will be in a cast for at least four more weeks…keep praying for her to recover completely Everyone reading this, have a great day, rest-of-the-week, and pray for all the kids in school and for the teachers that are dedicated to helping them learn. Love to you all.
