This summer has really gone by fast! Even though it is still warm…hot on some days…it has already started cooling down and the signs of fall being just around the corner is very evident. All my summer flowers are beginning to look tired and ready to be replaced with some fall mums, or whatever Lowe’s has available, and that will be on my to-do list soon.
Not a whole lot going on around here for now. All the kids are back in school, Kyle is settling in at WKU, and everyone seems to be adjusting well to the new classes, etc. We finally took Jerod out for his birthday dinner last night…birthday was in July…and that was fun. Between his schedule, and ours, we finally got that in before Meredith’s birthday on September 4th. Life is busy regardless of what age a person is!
We’re looking forward to being in Florida with Carter and Lori soon…along with others…and expecting it to be as fun as it was the last time we did this.
The “blue house” has settled down to a much slower pace…as our busy season is over…and we were really busy this summer. We feel blessed to have this house as a means of both income and helping others. so we will continue on for now. We have met some really nice folks and have most of May and June of next year already booked.
Guess I’d better get myself out for my walk as I’m told rain is headed our way…and we do need it. Have a great rest-of-the-week and do something fun. Love to you all.
