Happy Labor Day!

Happy Labor Day to all!  We’ve had a fantastic day and we did labor today…swatting all the biting flies while sitting on the beautiful beach here in Santa Rosa, FL.  It’s hot here but that makes it all the more reason we need to be at the beach and in the water.  The water is crystal clear so we can see the fish swim by…even saw a sting ray…and, therefore, never any unsuspected surprises.  We’ll be here all week and know each day will be a good one.  The guys are going fishing Wednesday morning and they are looking forward to that.  Hope they have fun and catch a lot.  I don’t want them to bring any back ’cause there won’t be any going back to KY., that’s for sure.  I’m still not a big fan of fish but I can, and do, eat it occasionally.  Catch and release is my motto!  The beach yesterday was extremely crowded but a lot less were around today…should be even less tomorrow.  The beach is still a good place to people watch and I have seen some sights for sure…many I didn’t even want to see!  I do believe most ladies don’t check themselves out in front of a full length mirror before they go out and they really should!

Today we get to celebrate Lori’s mother., Jean.  It’s her birthday!  She’s a very enjoyable lady and fun to be around so we are blessed to get to celebrate her special day with her, Butch, Carter, and Lori.

We left home on Friday and the traffic in Nashville was horrible.  Sure made us glad that we don’t live in a big city any longer.  Traffic coming down here was not bad, heavy at times, but we made it just fine.  We’ll all leave Saturday morning so we’re hoping it’ll be smooth sailing all the way back.

Guess that’s about it for now.  All you that will be laboring this week…I appreciate your efforts.  We will continue to swat the biting flies, sitting in the sun, playing in the water, and eating lots of good stuff.  We all have a job to do and I like ours ,this week ,the best!  Love to all.

Blessings….
