As we bid October a farewell yesterday, my mind is wondering how it could have flown by so quickly. We had a great month with five family birthdays, a weekend trip with Linda and Jim, time with the Gabehart’s and watch Tyler play baseball, visit with precious friends Frances and Lovell, a fun time at the Wilmore Trick or Treat on Main Street, dinners…and visits…with friends and family, plus lots more fun stuff. Life is flying by, that’s for sure, and we are so blessed that we are able to enjoy it all. Thank you Lord!!!
This week fall has returned to the bluegrass state and that’s always good. Last week we had lots of rain and rather cool weather…guess that’s ’cause the city was full of visitors enjoying all the activities at Keeneland. The Breeder’s cup was going on on Saturday and attendance for that was recording breaking. They all came to watch the most spectacular horse EVER win the “Grand Slam” of horse racing. Also on Saturday, we had lots of visitors in town from Tennessee to watch UT destroy UK…no surprises there! Now that everyone has gone home, we can bring out the sunshine and warmer temperatures.
The activity at the “blue house” is slowing down, and that’s not all bad. We do have more than half the month booked but no back-to-backs so far…not a fan of those. December is even booked less…at this time but subject to change…and then we head to see the twins, and their parents, before we head for the beach…and that’ll be a BIG YEAH!!!
Guess I need to get back to my “Suzy Homemaker” chores so I can get back to my crocheting. Have a great week and enjoy all the beauty of the fall. We had an amazing sunset last night and now for even more spectacular surprises from the Lord through out this week. Love to all.
Blessings….
