Good morning from KY….

I really have nothing to share but just wanted to let those that are reading this to know that we are both doing well, enjoying the changing season…except for keeping up with all those falling leaves…and looking forward to Thanksgiving.  Most days we really don’t have much on our calendars but we seem to stay busy throughout the day…so life is good!

Yesterday was another nephew’s birthday and we are proud of the man that Kevin is today.  He works hard at helping all the hearing impaired to hear better, keeping up with his family, and loves going to the hockey games that come to his area.  May he be blessed with many more good, healthy years!

I think the gloom of these sunless days is what makes me want to get to Florida sooner, rather than later.  I miss the sunny, warm days of summer.  Of course, the days around here will continue to get even more gloomy, colder, and dreary before we head out of town, but I will be patient through these dreary days.

We are excited about going to Kansas for Thanksgiving.  Clark and Vanessa will be hosting Thanksgiving this year and we appreciate that, and the opportunity to be in their new home.  We’ll also get to spend a couple of nights with our dear friends, Ron and Jean Like.  Had we never started going to Florida, we would never have met this great couple.  They are so much fun and time with them is always good!  We do spend time together while in Florida each year, and they come to KY to see some of their kids occasionally, so our friendship continues to grow.

Guess I’ve rambled on long enough.  Have a great day, stay warm, and let’s all be thankful for the many that served so selflessly to help our country stay free.   Love to all!
