November has flown by and here it is time for Thanksgiving. We left Wilmore on Sunday and spent a couple of nights with our friends in Kansas City and that was so fun. Ron and Jean are so hospitable and just fun to be around. We’ll get to spend more time with them during our two months in Florida…which won’t be long!
We got to Clark and Vanessa’s yesterday (Tuesday) around noon and it’s so good spending some time with them. We have never spent any time in Wichita so Clark took us on a little tour yesterday afternoon…very nice town. They have a beautiful home and Vanessa has worked hard getting it decorated…very pretty! Vanessa’s parents are also here and Carter and Lori will arrive tomorrow…so a fun Thanksgiving day is expected! I still miss the family get togethers of years gone by, but that would be impossible now with the family so large, home so small, and body so tired due to aging. Memories are a treasure and we’ll make some memories again tomorrow. I am so very thankful for family, friends, and memories!
