One day behind….

Yesterday we got to celebrate Blake’s 16th birthday.  Blake is such a good looking, good acting, and all around good guy while he managing to stay one step ahead of his mother.  Therefore, he’s a real joy to be around!  Blake excels in school, sports…baseball and basketball…, and his love for God, family, and friends.  We can all feel safer now that we have another teenage driver on the roads!  Happy belated birthday, Blake.  Love you bunches!

Carter and Lori are coming here on Saturday to help Chance and Emily move into their new home.  It will be good to have them here for the day/night and know all helping hands are appreciated on moving day.  Congrats to Chance and Emily on buying their first home and may it be all they are expecting it to be.

We’ll be going to Louisville on Thursday to attend another funeral and to do Christmas with the Gabehart’s.  The funeral is for a 22 year old man that died unexpectedly…we knew them from OCC…and the family is beyond devastated.  We look forward to having dinner with any of the Gabehart’s that are available…so hard to get them all together due to jobs, sports, etc…and enjoying a little Christmas time with them.

Just one more week and we’ll be headed to the Memphis area to spend Christmas with Scott, Allison, Turner, and Neyland.  This should be a great time for us in their new home with all the Christmas excitement that comes with being five.  We’ll leave from there on the 26th and head for Florida.  We are looking forward to being back to warm days, cool nights, and the beach!

Got to get busy as we have guest arriving at the “blue house” before long and I still need to bake their cookies, dust the furniture, and make it look like “home away from home” for them.  Love to you all.

Blessings…..
