Today is a very special day. Today we celebrate Ryan Dean Gabehart. He’s one of our many grandsons and he is turning 21 and so looking forward to that. Trouble is…21 means more responsibilities, demands, and shattered dreams and he’ll be turning 30 before he knows it. Regardless, Ryan is a very special man, to me, and I pray this new year will be the best one ever. Happy, happy birthday, Ryan, and I love you.
Yesterday we left home and made it to Scott and Allison’s so we can enjoy the next couple of days with them and to see if Santa comes. The boys are so excited and the magic is really happening. Our drive was uneventful, thankfully, in spite of the gloomy day with rain…heavy at times…but so much better than what happen to the people in Mississippi last night. Who would even think about tornadoes in December? Pray for them as they pick up the pieces of their lives and try to move forward. The loss of property is devastating enough, but the loss of the lives is beyond description. Bless them all!
I’m requested to go play with the boys so guess I’d better run. Merry Christmas to you all…even though no cards were sent out again this year. Happy, happy birthday to Ryan, and especially to Jesus, as we celebrate today and tomorrow. Love to all.
