Currently, week four is nothing more than a blur and was a very non-eventful week. It continues to be cooler than normal, raining far more than any year we’ve been coming down here, but there are a few days scattered in that are just plain amazing.
Linda and Jim came in on Saturday afternoon and we were thankful they were able to get out of Nashville after their big snow fall. We were busy all the time they were here and each day was FUN! Weather wise…two days were great, one day the wind would almost carry you away and was quite cold, but we did manage to witness a of beautiful sunsets and catch up on what’s happen within each family. Thanks again for coming our way, Linda and Jim, and for all YOU DID to make it so pleasant. Linda did admit that one of the main reasons for their coming was to make sure we were being honest about George’s recovery from his SMALL stroke. I did not lie, nor did he!
George does continue to do well and his blood pressure has come down quite a lot and is considered acceptable but not perfect. We continue to walk most every day and try to eat somewhat healthy every meal…except for the times he has “fried oysters”…one of his favorites and something he never gets back home.
Guess that’s about it for now…doing lots of laundry today so all is back to normal. As I mentioned earlier…another rainy day so no beach time again today. Oh well, we did manage to get to two different beaches the last two days with Linda and Jim so that was good. Praying everyone back home will stay warm with NO MORE snow for the rest of this winter. Love to you all!
Blessings….
