Our time here in Florida is rapidly coming to a close. This past week was another busy one of “not doing much” to “going to the beach”. We did enjoy having Carter and Lori here for a few days and the weather was good while they were here…no rain, lots of sunshine, and WIND, of course. We didn’t do a whole lot of resting while they were here, but we did manage to see a bunch of stuff, eat at some good restaurants, and take a few walks on several different beaches. So glad they came and they will get back home this evening around 5:15 and Carter saw on the weather they will be greeted with heavy rain or SNOW…not a very welcoming “Welcome Home” if you ask me.
This week is our last full week here and we…rather I…hope to get to the beach several days as there isn’t rain really being predicted…but clouds will keep the sun from coming through on some days. There’s snow, along with bitter cold, at home so I’m really not looking forward to ending our time here just yet. I’ve always been told that all good things must come to an end, so this to is coming to an end.
Have a good week and we’ll do the same. Love to each one that reads this “Grandma blog” and praying you are all well, warm, and wealthy. Well, maybe not wealthy but definitely well and warm.
Blessings….
