Only three more days….

These last two months have absolutely flown by.  The first several days we were here, we had near perfect weather and that enhanced our love of being at the beach in Venice/Englewood Florida during the winter months of January and February.  Then George did his “trick”, the weather turned to real winter, and we were once again having to deal with cold.  Of course, the Florida cold is nothing in comparison to the Kentucky cold, but my body couldn’t tell the difference.  Florida cold had lots of wind that seems to go right to your bones, but we still managed to wear flip flops and shorts/capri’s on most days.

George got well, we had Jim and Linda come for a few days one weekend and then Carter and Lori came for another weekend, got to enjoy a meal with our niece Teresa and her family, spent time with friends, ate at some really great restaurants, visited some weekend art fairs…their art would only work for a Florida home…, spent some time with George’s cousin David and his wife Sophia…always enjoyable…, enjoyed some amazing sunsets, and the weather finally turned back to warm…therefore, many of our last days we went to the beach each day for just a few hours.  All in all…another great time in Florida and we will be back next winter, hopefully.  Now to find a place that will rent to us for just the two months…most want 3-4 but we won’t be doing that!

We will leave here on Wednesday morning (24th) and go as far as these old bodies want to ride before we stop for the night…usually about twelve hours worth.  It will be good getting back home and back to our normal routine but this Florida routine has sure been enjoyable.  We are, also, looking forward to the wedding activities for Sean and Theresa…along with seeing family we haven’t seen in a while…and we wish them many, many happy years of wedded bliss.  Sean and Theresa’s wedding is a small, rather private, event but I feel certain it will be full of meaning and memories.

We are praying for each of you every day and thankful for each, and every, one of you…we are so blessed!  Have a great week and please pray we will have safe travel coming home.  Love to you all.

Blessings….
