Guess I’m boring…..

Since it is apparent I’m having LONG intervals between posting I can only say….my life is so boring I have nothing to write about.  I am thankful for my boring life, my good health, and the fact that nothing much is exciting going on in Wilmore…but I do miss this one sided chat I do occasionally.

Clark, Vanessa, and Dwayne are back in Kansas and trying to get back to finding out what their new normal will be like.  We grieve over their loss but so thankful that Smitty is no longer suffering.  They are still in the mix of the basement remodel and will be glad when that’s completed.  It was beautiful before this was started so it should be gorgeous once it’s completed.

Linda continues to do well with her radiation and is having limited side effects…thank you, Lord.  She, and Jim, continue to stay busy and enjoying it all so I guess all is well in Nashville.

Tyler is back to 100% with his shoulder but will have to do daily exercised for the rest of his life if he wants it to stay fixed.  He’s one happy young man and is so glad to be back on the baseball field.  Way to go, Tyler, and this just goes to show that patience and doing exactly what you’re told really does have good results.

The “blue house” is very busy right now…only two unoccupied days in June and only three in July…but that is coming to an end in August.  We should pick up a few more reservations but it’s very sparse from August 11 until the end of the year.  Oh well, that’s the joys of this type of business.  If the economy gets bad, people don’t travel as much…or for as long.

George is doing well but is sad he hasn’t been able to work in his shop the past couple of weeks.  His grinder broke and he can’t sharpen his tools but it’s being fixed…so they say…and he’ll be back in business soon.  He made some beautiful bowls out of olive wood just before his tools went dull so he’s anxious to get back at it.  He is very talented and has some great pieces and my “you’re not giving this away” list continues to grow.

Because of my limited postings I will say happy birthday to our July list…Happy birthday to Kyle (no longer a teenager) and Allison (still a young lady) on the 2nd…Happy first birthday to Jesse as he turns one on the 3rd…Happy birthday to Jerod (19) on the 7th…Happy birthday to Sean (32) on the 29th…and today is Victoria’s 32nd birthday and what a beautiful place to be on any day (Hawaii) but especially to celebrate a birthday.  During June we also celebrated Daniel, Linda Lou, Buddy, and Michael as they all got another year older. Happy, happy, happy to each of them…belated or upcoming.

I’ve “chatted” long enough and need to get busy doing something…crocheting on another afghan!  Have a great 4th and stay safe.  Carter and Lori are on another trip to Mexico to celebrate from there and I know that will be fun.  The rest of us will just be “bored” at home, I guess.  Love to you all.

Blessings…..
