Back in the groove….

We arrived back home this afternoon after three full days of fun with Scott, Allison, Turner, and Neyland.  We got there Thursday evening just in time for their T-ball game and that was very entertaining.  Of course, the boys had school on Friday, Scott worked, Allison had plans, and we visited with some former Wilmore friends…loved seeing them.  Saturday was a stay at home and play day.  The boys are so energetic and love playing games of all kinds.  We managed a few rousing games of “Zinga”…whole lot like bingo…War, dominoes, and another game that was new to us and I haven’t a clue what the name of it was but it was lots of fun.  We also did many pages of word scrambles, learning how to tell time, count money, and read lots of books…they both read extremely well for first graders.  Sunday was church, lunch, and more fun stuff..  The days went by really fast and we filled up each day with many happy memories.

Scott and Allison are still in the remodel mode and they are getting somewhat tired of it…imagine that!  A lot has gotten done, but there seems to be a long punch list that continues to grow.  It’s really going to be beautiful and they have LOTS of house to wander around in and keep straight…cleaning ladies do the cleaning thankfully…and a big yard to maintain.  They seem to be loving it and I’m thrilled for them.

The “blue house” has picked up speed and we are now busy, busy, busy once more.  Every weekend until the end of November is now booked along with many other days.  This is going to be our best year ever at the rate we’re going.  The last I counted we had booked about 230 nights this year and we’ve books several more since then.  Thankfully we still like working it and love meeting all the many people that come our way.

Guess I’m out of news.  As far as I know, all are well and doing OK.  Linda and Jim are still suffering from Jet Lag but their anniversary trip to China was worth it all…looking forward to the many pictures.  Jerre continues to improve and feeling much better.   Enjoy another week of “summer”.  Love to you all.

Blessings…….
