Loving the fall…

The Lord truly blessed us with an absolutely gorgeous day today and I am so thankful.  The crisp…almost cold…nights we’ve been having, and then the sunny days with the light breezes, makes for near perfect weather.  The leaves are falling so quickly, and the trees will be bare in no time, which means winter will be showing up way to soon.  Guess we can start thinking about what we’ll need to pack for Florida!

Tuesday, the 25th, will be Byron’s 50th birthday and I know they have big plans to celebrate this milestone.  The years are flying by so quickly and all our kids are now growing into the “can’t wait for retirement” stage and that seems almost impossible.  Regardless, happy, happy birthday to you, Byron, and may you be blessed with many more.

Not a lot happening currently and I guess that’s a good thing.  We will be meeting friends for lunch on Wednesday and going to Louisville on Friday….so we do some fun stuff occasionally.  We seem to stay busy, most days, but if you’d ask us what we’ve been up to we’d have to say “not much”.  The “blue house” is still giving us something to do each week and we are thankful for that.  Of course, we can rake leaves most days now so that’s something to look forward to, I guess.  Thankfully, we are doing well and truly enjoying this season of our lives.

Linda Lou will be having surgery on the 26th and we’re all praying hard that it will be successful this time.  She’ll be on a no weight bearing life style for the next three month, then in a cast for some time after that, and then PT will follow, I’m sure.

All our kids, and grandkids, are doing well as far as we know and staying very busy just living life.  Little Jesse is getting more precious every time I see him and he’s incredibly cute!

Guess that’s about it and I’ll be back when I can think of something to write about.  Have a great week and I’m sending my love to each of you and miss seeing all of you.

Blessings…..
