Sure is cold outside and makes me remember just why we go to Florida all of January and February. So much for the remaining flowers as this “freeze” will finish them off and make the yards look “gloomy” until spring returns.
Not much happening here in the bluegrass state. The election is over and now we’ll see just what Americans are made of. The riots will not make our nation great again, nor will all the bad mouthing, hateful, and indifference make us great again. One of our dear friends always said “it’s nice to be nice” and I agree 100% along with working hard, adopt a willingness to do your part, and in time we can make America great again. We have sure gotten ourselves in a mess and it will take a very long time to undo all our “entitlement” mindset. All I can say is LORD COME QUICKLY!
Thanksgiving is just around the corner and we’re looking forward to spending that time in Franklin, TN with Carter and Lori…along with quite a few others. It should be a fun time and more memories to enjoy, and make.
Yesterday was veterans day and I am so thankful for all that have, and currently are, keeping us safe. It seems ironic that we seem to want to destroy ourselves from the inside out! Thank you and may we always appreciate your willingness to serve and while putting your life on the line each and every day.
Guess that’s about it for now. Have a great weekend and stay warm…a balmy 33 here but the sun is shinning! Continue to pray for Linda Lou as she’s healing from her latest foot surgery, for our nation to act responsibly, and for us all to treat everyone like we’d like to be treated. Love to you all,
