This continues to be a very unpredictable fall. One day it’s quite cold, and then a couple of days later, it’s back in the 70’s. Of course, the cold killed nearly all the flowers, so the drab of winter is very evident, but I love these days of it not being so cold. We’re being told the weather will change again this Saturday and may even see a snow flake, or two. Surely that’s just an ugly rumor! BTW…Wasn’t that moon beautiful the last few days? God sure knows how to present himself through nature and the environment!
Our country continues to be so divided, and there seems to be no end to all of the ugliness going around, which makes me so sad. At this point and time all we can do is pray for God to intervene and get us all back on the right tracks. We have to be the laughing stock of the world!
Melissa, Madi, and Jesse dropped by yesterday for a couple of hours and that was so fun. Jesse is so cute and truly “all boy” and he loves his Mimi…I’m now the “great-mimi”. He loves books, taking puzzles apart but not putting them back together, and just being cute/sweet. He’s at a really cute age (almost 17 months) and he changes daily. Love my great grandson!
We are looking forward to enjoying Thanksgiving next week and spending time with several family members. I’ll say more about that once we get back home from Tennessee.
Guess I need to see what I can accomplish today…nothing really exciting going on again today, that’s for sure…and maybe even crochet a few rows on the afghan I’m currently making. Life is rough when you’re retired. We seem to stay busy but we seldom have many plans…things just happen! Have a great rest-of-the-week. Love to you all.
Blessings…..
