Things you see at the beach…

The other evening we went over to the Manasota beach to watch the sunset.  The first thing we encounter was this group of people doing YOGA…George is sure he could master this position.  I have to admit that I spent more time watching them than I did the approaching sunset.  The “older” lady in the center was my main attraction….I could relate to her the most.  At times she appeared to be having trouble staying balanced and kept putting a foot down…she never gave up.  The funniest time for me was when they were down on their hands and knees while putting a leg out and head held up high.  While she was in that position she kept her head down and began collecting sea shells and putting them in her pocket all the while fighting to keep her balance.  For whatever reason this stuck me as hilarious.  George thinks I’m warped but it really was a funny sight and something I could see myself doing if I ever tried Yoga on the beach.  Oh well, it’s the little things in life that keeps me entertained.  I thank my mother for gifting me with this warped sense of humor I will continue to enjoy for the remainder of my life.  Remember…laughter is good for the soul.  Now to find another entertaining group on the Manasota beach.

This past year had a lot of good things, along with the bad…such as George’s stroke…but all in all we had another very blessed year.  The “blue house” had guest in it over 220 days (+/-)…our best year yet…and we’re booking now for 2017 and 2018.  Thankfully, we continue to enjoy the people that come our way along with the benefits of the income so we’re good for another year.  We are so blessed, and thankful, for our family members, friends, and the community we enjoy in Florida and Kentucky.   May we all continue to live for Jesus and bless all those around us each day during 2017.  Love to you all.

Blessings…..
