Paradise continues….

Yesterday evening we went over to the beach to watch the sunset and it was beautiful!  It’s amazing how long it lasted and how brilliant the “reds” were across the sky.  All I can ever say is “Thank you, Lord, for showing yourself to us through your handiwork”.  I never tire of seeing all God shows us each day if we’ll only take time to enjoy it.

Each morning we are greeted with cool temperatures, a beautiful sunrise, and another day in “Paradise”.  The next couple of mornings we’ll have LOTS of traffic as this park is having their annual “Juntique” sale and the cars are piling in.  There was some very nice pieces of furniture we saw leave yesterday and the sale hadn’t even started…except to residents…but who’s checking ID’s?

Also, yesterday, we met one of George’s old Ford buddies, along with his wife, for lunch and the guys enjoyed catching up with each other.  This is their first year here so they had lots of questions, etc. but they seem to be adapting well…not crazy about the place they’re staying but liking most everything else.

We’ll be going out to dinner with Ron and Jean on Saturday night to celebrate his birthday.  It will also be the 3rd anniversary of mom’s death so his birthday always has a “little” cloud overhead.  They are wonderful friends, and so much fun to be with, so there’s no doubt we’ll have a great time celebrating Ron.

We’ve, also, celebrated Jim’s birthday…more through thoughts since we failed to call…but we are very thankful for him and his life.  Sure hope his day was a good one and he got celebrated well.

Guess that’s about it for today.  Have a great day and we love you all.

Blessings……
