Today I’m wishing Chase a very happy birthday and so looking forward to seeing him on the wedding cruise next week. He and his bride, Tara, actually married last February 12th but without all the fanfare. Well, this affirmation of their vowels will be quite different as it will be on a cruise ship and we’ll be headed to the Bahamas. Should be fun and it’s our first time to sail there so we’re expecting big things to take place.
Tomorrow we’ll be wishing Tyler a happy 17th birthday and he’s a very remarkable guy that is loaded with talent. He’s been an all A student in school from day one, fabulous baseball player and hoping to play college ball at UofL staring in 2018 for the fall ball season, plays the piano amazingly well on a very out-of-tune piano and all by ear, and is loved by all that know him…especially his Mimi and Papa.
Wednesday it’s my turn and I know I’m getting really OLD but I still don’t feel like I think someone my age should feel, or act. Life continues to be good and I am so very thankful
Thursday Margie will have a turn and we’ll be wishing her a very happy birthday, too. She retired this year and seems to be able to keep herself busy…especially with all the fun stuff she does with her sister…along with keeping up with Chipper.
We have had absolutely marvelous weather this year and have been to the beach numerous times…and more to come. After church yesterday, we drove by the place we enjoyed two years ago in Sarasota that was on a canal to find that that house had been completely torn down. Last year it was damaged somewhat by a tornado while we were here, but we didn’t think it was so bad it would be wiped out. Oh well, guess we’ll mark that place off as to never having a chance to rent it again. I loved the dock there, even though the apartment was really small, we had a great time while there.
Tomorrow we’ll be back in Sarasota for a violin concert…going with Wilmore friends that are there until April…and that should be interesting. I always think of my mother when I hear the violins as she loved listening to them. On my birthday we’ll be going to dinner with Ron and Jean and that is always so much fun. They are so special to us.
Our time here is going by so quickly and we’ll be back to reality in just 23 days! Winter has been fairly mild this year and I just hope it doesn’t decide to come and stay for the entire month of March like it did last year…last March shortly after we got home we had the biggest snow of the season!
Our of stuff to write about so guess I’ll get ready for the beach. Have a great week and love to you all.
Blessings…..
