We had a wonderful time in the mountains and the weather was absolutely perfect…along with the Crockett kids! We hiked up to Clingman’s Dome and saw all the different sights that are usually not visible because of the clouds. It was cool but perfect for climbing up that steep incline! Thanks goodness I’m in shape because the climb was so much easier this time as compared to the last time we were there…ten years ago! Didn’t even huff and puff! Yeah for the treadmil. We also drove through the Cage Cove area to see the wildlife…only saw deer but quite a few of them. I hear the bears are still sleeping!
Got to go…will write more later. Going to a banquet for Ryan to honor his “Quick Recall Team” and the success they had this year.
