Celebrating Valentine’s Day is really not a biggy for us as we have never gotten into the consumerism of exchanging gifts etc. We are doing more than our normal this year and I can’t wait. We bought some lobsters and will be eating them for dinner tonight along with a baked potato and corn on the cob. There’s a fish market here called “Twin Lobsters” that has any kind of seafood you might want to eat and it’s all fresh…flown in daily. The lobsters arrive from Maine daily, also. They cook them for you and all I’ll have to do is drop them into boiling water for 2 minutes to heat them up. It’s been ages since I’ve had the pleasure of eating lobster and it’s one of my favorites….far to expensive in the restaurants at home should you even find any on a menu.
We have two more days before we head to Miami for the “wedding” cruise and we are praying it’ll be a wonderful time of celebrating Chase and Tara. It’ll be a really quick trip but we won’t waste a minute of it so we should be tired when we get back to Venice. We’ll have one week left of our Florida winter trip and I know that March will have some cold days since there’s been very few so far. Surely after ten weeks of sunshine and warm days we can handle some cold March days? I won’t like it but I feel sure we will survive.
Hope all of you reading this have had, or are having, a great day with your special valentine. I truly have the best one for me and I am so very thankful that we have now shared 56 valentines together…54 in marriage…and he’s still capturing my heart and love.
I’ll be back while we’re cruising, if possible, but for sure when we get back inside the USA. Love to you all and be sure and watch Hannah on Jeopardy tonight (Tuesday).
Blessings….
