In just six days we will be headed to Myrtle Beach to spend a week with Melissa, Byron, Madison, and Tyler. Tyler will be in a baseball camp the first 3-4 days…I’m hoping we’ll get to see him “shine” while there…along with soaking up some rays on the beach with Madi. Tyler loves baseball, and gets better each year, and his dream is still to play for the University of Louisville when he graduates next year. He’s gotten some attention so we’re hoping all his hard work and determination will pay off. He sent me a text this afternoon of the new song he’s writing, and playing, on the piano. All I can say is HE’S AMAZING and he’s been blessed with a wonderful gift. Oh how I envy him and so wish I had been given that same gift. Ya’ll just wait…great things are coming to him in both sports, music, and scholastically.
We have FINALLY gotten some spring weather and it feels amazing! I have the front flower beds all ready for some perennials but it’s still about a month away before we can be certain of no more frost. I have some of the back yard beds ready but not all of them…hopefully this week that will all get done. George does all the heavy stuff while I putter in the beds…we really do make a good team.
Not much happening except keeping up with the “blue house”, a little yard work, always laundry, and just puttering each day away. We are doing well…except for George’s knees…and we are thankful for all we are blessed with. Seems like all we do is watch college basketball and attend high school baseball games. Tyler, Blake, and Grayson all play and we go to as many as we’re able to each week. I missed some because it was just too cold but it was perfect yesterday.
Have a blessed week, do something good, and I’d love to hear from any of you that might be reading this blog. I’ve gotten sort of lazy…my life is really very dull…about writing but I do enjoy it when I do write. So…I will continue. Love to you all.
Blessings…..
