I realize it’s been quite a few days since I’ve taken the time to blog and so much has happened during these days. First of all, George has a spectacular birthday celebration while I had a spectacular Mother’s Day. Our kids pulled off the surprise of the century by all of them showing up for this special Sunday…along with eleven of the fifteen grandkids and our one great-grandson. To say we were surprised, and beyond delighted, is to put it mildly. We will treasure the memories of those days for the remainder of our lives and thank our kids for loving us to do this for us.
Summer has showed up here in Central Kentucky and I’m loving it. Spring is returning next week but that’s OK, too. I love having the windows open and enjoying the warm breezes…but not really fond of the humidity that has already showed up.
Last night we got to watch Meredith graduate from high school and she excelled during these four years…never a doubt that she wouldn’t. She will be attending Lipscomb University in the fall and is looking forward to being there and for all that will keep her busy. Jerod is also there so she knows at least one person on campus!
Since I’m not very good at knowing how to insert stuff on here, I’ll just post these here and you can see for yourself what good looking people are in our family.
Here’s a photo of our five! So cute!!! And Meredith with her family after graduation.
Can’t get the group pictures to post so guess that’s about all for now. Have a great weekend and congratulations again to Meredith for a job well done. Love to you all.
Blessings……
