Glad that’s done…

Today I finally broke down and washed all these grimy windows and what a difference that makes.  The light coming through is so much brighter and I don’t cringe every time I look out.  It’s a job I hate doing but I’m always glad when I get it done.  It’s really not a bad job, since we have the tilt-in windows on most of them, but it’s just not something I like doing.  Now to get the windows done at the “blue house”.  Again, not a bad job due to the tilt-in windows but for now we don’t have the time between guest to get it done.  Nice problem to have!

Today is an absolutely beautiful day and everything around here is so lush and green.  The lawns are growing so fast and needing to be mowed about twice a week for now but that will slow down once the really hot days show up.  We haven’t used our AC for several weeks now and I’m loving that.  I am thankful for ceiling fans to get us through the warmest part of the afternoons and will love having lower utility bills for awhile.

This Saturday Meredith will be having her graduation party and that should be a fun time.  Tanya was wanting…and needing…another eating table for her screened porch so George made her one out of reclaimed barn wood.  It is beautiful and it didn’t take him…along with Jerod…but a couple of days to make it.  He’s so talented!

Guess that’s about it for now.  Enjoy this new month of June and 2017 is almost half over…hard to comprehend…but the Lord continues to bless us, and care for us, more than we ever imagined possible.  Love to you all.

Blessings….
