The days just continue to fly by and our days seem full for the most part. We had a really good time celebrating our 55th anniversary in Cincinnati, and the Reds even won their ball game against the Cardinals. Amazing!!! The B&B where we stayed was, again, a very relaxing experience with an excellent breakfast the following morning.
Since we’ve been home we continue to stay on the go keeping up with the “busy” blue house, rebuilding our fence, and getting in some baseball games to watch Blake play. George took down the picket fence, because it was in really bad shape, and we are currently in the process of putting up a rail fence. It will look really nice and we are extremely thankful for Jerod and Blake helping us yesterday. Jerod will help again today while Blake will be working at CFL…Meredith and Grayson are in WV on a mission trip so they lucked out in helping.
I was so sad to hear of the passing of Linda’s (my sister) life long friend, Jinanne, but we are all thankful for the life she lived. Cancer is a horrible thing and she fought hard for quite a long time. May all that loved her find peace in just knowing she is no longer suffering.
Daniel celebrated his 44th birthday on Sunday and we’re thankful for him. We enjoyed his birthday dinner last night while celebrating his life…two days past the birthday…and may he have many more happy, healthy years of life.
We have a new great-niece as of yesterday (Tuesday) and she’s a beautiful baby. She’s a big one arriving in at 8 lbs 13 oz and 21 1/2 inches in length. Welcome to the family Kyla Ruby and congratulations to Kevin and Victoria. Love those sweet babies!
Guess I better get back to helping with the fence. So sad that we have another shooting in Virginia that involved a congressman, along with others, and the terror continues. Our country is in so much need of God’s intervention and healing.
Have a wonderful hump day and pray for those shot, our country, and even the shooter. So sad…very, very sad. Love to all.
Blessings….
