The weeks are just flying by and I can’t believe that June is almost over. This past week has been really pleasant temperature wise, but summer came back just in time to honor the “first day” of summer…and now a tropical storm is headed our way. They say we should expect between 4 1/2 – 5 inches of rain. YIKES!!!
Lori and Carter have a new grandson and he’s quite a guy. This is Curtis’ second son, Lori’s son, and I know they are happy he has arrived healthy and BIG. Congratulations to them. There will be two more babies added to their family by the end of the year…both Chase and Chance will become fathers in December…and we are excited to meet each of them at some point.
I went to Louisville yesterday and got to spend a little time with Melissa and that was fun. We’ll both be going there on Saturday to celebrate Jesse’s 2nd birthday…actual birthday is in July but we didn’t want to mess with Kyle’s special day. He’s so sweet and is really smart…loves books and school buses!
The “blue house” continues to be busy but it will soon slow down soon. We have really been blessed to meet some really good people and to enjoy the added income.
We are both doing well and have no reason to complain about anything. It was good talking with Linda Lou and Buddy…about 30 seconds with him…as they both celebrated getting older. Didn’t talk with Michael but he, too, is OLDER! July is full of birthdays so we get to enjoy several happy days that month…Kyle, Allison, Jerod, Jesse, and Sean.
We, also, have a new great-niece, Kyla Ruby, and we hope to see her at some point before she’s completely grown. Congratulations to Victoria and Kevin. She, too, is a big girl weighing in at almost 9 pounds. Love all these precious babies.
Guess that’s about it. Stay cool, dry, and comfortable as we will be doing the same. Love to you all.
