What happen to the sunshine?

We have been in Florida for one week today, and so far we’ve seen two sunsets but have had NO beach time.  I know it’s bitter cold back at home but it’s also cold here…in the 30’s at night and only in the 50’s during the day with strong winds.  It’s even snowing today in Jacksonville which is very rare.  I feel sure this won’t last too many weeks, but I’m so ready to sit on the beach and listen to the waves while watching the people.  I didn’t bring enough winter cloths this time as it’s not suppose to be like this.  Today is a rain day…which they desperately need…along with being just a dreary day. Oh well, pray tomorrow will be better.

We enjoyed going to our Wilmore friends new-to-them place for dinner last night and it was fun.  They are in a 55+ park in North Port…about 15 + miles from here…and their modular home is really nice.  When they bought it last year it came completely furnished with everything…and everything is NICE.  No junk there!  We have also been with Ron and Jean at their condo…New Year’s Eve…and it, too, is beautiful.  Our place is small but they did quite a bit of redecorating since last season so we’re pleased to be here.  I still have no desire to buy anything as long as we can get something decent for just the two months we enjoy being in Florida.

No news to write about since not much is going on.  Have a good hump day and stay warm.  Love to all.

Blessings…..
