It seems as though I have forgotten to blog in over a month. Guess that shows just how exciting my life really is…or, maybe I’m just old and forgetful? Regardless, we are doing well and enjoying life.
During the month of May…George had another birthday along with Grayson. Both were thankful for their special day and looking forward to what all this next year offers them. Tyler graduated with honors from Eastern High School and was one of many valedictorians. He’ll be attending the University of Alabama once he’s through with what the Air National Guard wants from him…like basic training. We spent a couple of days with the twins, and their parents, and that was really fun. The boys are currently playing tackle football in a youth league and having lots of fun there. Neyland made their first touchdown of the season and that was very exciting for everyone.
June is currently giving us the spring like weather that we missed in May…the hottest month on record. We still are not doing anything special but we will have a special day this Friday…our 56th wedding anniversary. My how the years have flown by! I’m still amazed by this man and feel so blessed to have walked this life with him all these many years. Happy Anniversary to US!
Guess that’s about as newsy as I can get for now. Have a great rest-of-the-week…maybe even month if I don’t do better blogging. Life is good so let’s keep enjoying each day. Jerre, you keep getting better and know we pray daily for you. As for the rest of us..let’s just stay healthy and forget the wise thing as we’re all to old for that. Love to all.
