As usual, there’s not much going on for us and I guess that’s really a good thing. George continues to help our friend build some custom book shelves for his house…and they are beautiful…while I sit in the A/C and crochet when I have nothing better to do. The “blue house” has been going at a steady pace, and we’re always thankful for that…not a lot of back-to-back bookings which makes it a lot easier to not be overwhelmed by all the laundry and cleaning.
Tyler is being celebrated on Saturday for his outstanding high school career and we’re looking forward to enjoying that. We’re, also, going to Cincinnati on Sunday for a Reds/Cubs game with the Crockett’s and that’s always fun. Hope the Reds win but the Crockett’s are for the Cubs. Guess at least some of us will be happy on the way back home.
We have had some unusually hot days this month and can only imagine how “enjoyable” July and August will be…still better than cold and snow! We’ve gotten a little rain this morning so it’s nice and humid currently…another plus for summer.
Guess that’s about it for now. Just wanted those that read this to know we are still alive and well. Please pray for Chase as he’s been deployed and won’t be back until October…hard time for all. Also, we got lots of family birthdays coming up the first week of July…Kyle and Allison on the 2nd, Jesse on the 3rd, and Jerod on the 7th. Happy, happy birthday to all!
Have a great rest-of-the-week and I love you all.
Blessings…
