September ended with a full, fun filled week at the beach with Carter, Lori, and others. It’s a really relaxing week as we don’t do a lot more than enjoy the beach, eat lots of good food, play games in the evening, and read. Carter and Lori have been hosting this for the last 5 years and we are sure thankful and looking forward to their continuing this tradition. Sure hope hurricane Michael…it’s heading right to the area we’ve been enjoying…won’t destroy, or damage, the house…or take any lives. Pray for those that live in that area, please.
Last week we got to celebrate Tanya and Lori’s birthdays and this week we are celebrating Jimbo and Scott. One nice thing about a larger family is there is always someone, or some thing, to celebrate. So proud of each one of them and it’s amazing how much closer to the “senior citizen” stage all the kids are getting.
Clark will be celebrating in a big way in just another week, or so. He will be finished with his college degree!!! He’s worked hard, and long, to achieve this and I couldn’t be more proud of him. Congratulations, Clark, now take some time to just relax and enjoy life. Love you.
We are still enjoying summer here in central Kentucky but fall will be here by tomorrow evening. Now all those complaining about the heat will get to complain about being cold. Fall is a beautiful time of the year but it has a cloud hanging over it as winter’s ugly face is just around the corner. The season’s are nice but…
Guess that’s about it for now. Have a great week and know all are loved by me. Jerre, I’m still praying and won’t cease.
Blessings….
