Latest updates….

Lacey is healing well from her shoulder surgery, although she had a rather rough day yesterday, and hoping to be up and about soon.  Jerod has really felt awful since he had his tonsils out on Monday…Blake is doing some better but he, too, is really not doing so well.  They are both totally washed out and have extremely sore throats.  Breaks your heart to see them like this.

My good friend, Carolyn Davis, is doing well considering she had a stroke on Sunday.  They said she will recover completely from it since they believe the culprit is the heart.  I haven’t heard any more news today but hoping they’ll return my call tonight or tomorrow.  Just goes to show us how fragile life is and how unique our bodies are.

Meredith spent the night here last night because she has a real phobia about “sick people”…she’ll never be the nurse her mother is…and couldn’t stand being in the house with the sick boys.  If either one of them even gags, she’s out of there with her Dad right behind her…makes for a fun time for Tanya.

The three kittens were picked up by Animal Control yesterday and he said he felt sure they would be adopted.  They were healthy and really cute, but nothing I’m interested in having.  Check out George’s blog for a picture of one of them peeking out of a box we had put them in.  Their mama will have more, I’m sure, so this will be a problem until we can catch her and have her “fixed”.  This is her second litter since we’ve moved to Wilmore.  Feral cats are a constant problem.  The good side is, we don’t have a problem with mice!

We continue to have summer-like weather but it’s suppose to get a lot cooler by this weekend.  It’s still in the mid 80’s everyday and that’s about 10-15 degrees above normal.  Still no rain but that may come this winter but will be called SNOW.  Yikes…the very thought of snow makes me long for the beach!

Nothing more to write about.  Have a good night and I’ll be back soon.

Blessings……..
