When you leave home, two months plus a couple extra days ago, seems like a LONG time. But once you settle in and get to enjoying the beach, the sunshine, and spending time with friends, it all goes by far to fast. We only have 22 days left and then we head back to our reality…cold, snow, yuck…but a warm house and security of being back HOME.
We did have about ten days of quite cool…not cold, thankfully…days, but when we compared it to the weather at home, we were not going to really complain. I just hope all this fantastic weather will remain for the next 22 days! Carter and Lori will be here on the 15th for a couple of days and then Rita and Angela will be at Teresa’s on the 21st-24th so we’re looking forward to seeing each of them. We did enjoy a GREAT dinner with George’s cousin, David, at an Italian restaurant on this past Saturday evening. Even with my GF pasta IT WAS FANTASTIC. I would sure love that recipe for the sauce I ate, but as the chief stated…”It’s a secret”…so I’ll just have to remember how yummy it tasted.
There’s really no news so I’ll get off for now. Stay warm, have a great rest-of-the-week and keep praying for Linda as she’s dealing with chemo. She says she’s doing well, considering, but it is cumulative so it’s starting to show it’s self. Love to you all.
