The old saying of “time flies when you’re having fun” really is true. We have had a great two months and this has been one of the best times for weather. It has been warmer than normal…with some cool (almost cold) days scattered throughout…so we’ve enjoyed lots of beach time. Always a good thing!
We have gotten to spend time with some really good friends, George’s cousin, had Carter and Lori for a long week-end visit, enjoyed being with Teresa and her family, along with Rita and Angela. The restaurants here continue to be great and sure know how to cook scallops that are always delicious. But all good things must come to an end. We plan to depart here on Thursday morning, early, and drive as far as Chattanooga, TN which takes us approximately 12 hours. On Friday we will go home by way of Nashville to see Linda and Jim, and maybe Jerod, for a quick visit before doing that last LONG ride iinto Wilmore. Please pray our travel will be safe, patience will be available, and traffic will be light. The last comment is really a joke since it’s always very heavy…especially within a 100 miles either side of Atlanta. If you’re thinking of moving to that area…DON’T…it’s already full. So much traffic!
Guess I’d better get busy as I do have stuff to do these next two days … like find where I’ve put all my stuff. Have a great week and pray for Clark as he’s got the flu and pneumonia and Vanessa as she has the flu type A & B…and she had the shot. They have been really sick but said they are getting better, ever so slowly. Of course, we’re all praying for Linda and she’s half way through her chemo and we will be so glad when she’s finished. Don’t forget to include Meredith as she’s still studying this semester abroad and having a fabulous time. Gotta run…Love to you all.
Blessings……
