I guess blogging once a month can be considered better than nothing. Right? I’ve started to write on several different days but felt I had nothing to say that would be of interest…even though we’ve had a busy month.
Business at the ‘blue house’ has picked up and for that I’m thankful. We’ve been able to bless a few families this year with “free” lodging and that’s always a good thing. I can’t imagine we’ll be doing this many more years since we are getting so old but for now we still enjoy doing it.
This month has been a good month for graduations and all with honors. Tanya is now Dr. Tanya, Kyle is through with WKU, and Blake is a high school graduate. They each excelled in their chosen studies and will definitely be an asset to their career paths. Blake will be going to Lipscomb to continue his education…pre med…in the fall. The Crockett’s will have three (3) in Lipscomb so we might want to start a “go fund me” page for them. Jerod, and Meredith (one year early for her), will graduate next spring so it’s just for one year but then Grayson will join the crowd. Kyle has started his “big boy” job and he seems to like it. I think he hopes in time he will become a financial advisor. The twins are finished with grade 3 and are looking forward to being in the 4th. They, too, will be graduating before we know it. Tyler is ready to start Eastern KY in the fall and will be finishing up getting his pilot’s license in the very near future. As for all others…guess they are well and happy and that’s all one can ask for. Life is just flying by and all the grands will all be grown in just a few more years.
Have a great weekend and enjoy this beautiful spring weather…if with the occasional rain showers. Love to you all.
Blessings….
