I do believe the month of October has literally flown by. Most of the month was HOT and HUMID…as was September. The entire month of September we received not one drop of rain but the month of October has doubled the normal amount of rain so we’re anxious to see what November is going to bring us. Praying it won’t be snow! The weather continues to keep us guessing regardless of the month we’re in.
October was a good birthday month for some…Tanya, Scott, Jimbo, Lori, and Byron. I am thankful each of them were born and continue to have birthdays.
This past weekend we went to see Neyland and Turner play tackle football for the youth league they are in, but that all got cancelled. We headed their way on Friday and it was a dreary, wet day…but not a bad travel day. We get up Saturday to a monsoon rain that cancelled all games. Sunday was more rain…just a steady drizzle…and it was still going on when we left for home on Monday morning. Guess we’ll have to go back in the spring to see them play ball. They have both grown a bunch and are really good boys…and cuteness is on overload!
Not much going on currently, which is a good thing, I guess. We’re looking forward to having Thanksgiving at our place this year. It will be super crowded but that’s what happens when you have a big family. There will be lots of food, noise, and memories being made.
I hope all that read this are staying warm, dry, and contented. Life is so short, the years are flying by, and each season is a definite blessing. Enjoy the week.
Blessings….
