What a fun week this past week was. Last Saturday our friends, Frank and Patty Puleo from Louisville, came for a quick overnight visit. Then on Wednesday we had the Richardson’s crew and that was another brief but enjoyable time..only hours and not an overnight thing. Thursday I had my ladies Bible class and then on Friday we had the Hanauer family come in for the Wilmore Halloween festival…see George’s blog for photo’s. This was fun and an absolutely perfect evening weather wise. Everyone really enjoyed this and the kids felt good about having a bag of candy to munch on on the way back to Louisville. Kylie, Jackson, and Will are really sweet and very good. Yesterday, we attended Weston’s first birthday party…our across the street neighbors…and that was fun getting to know more of Mark’s family. Living in such a small town really has it’s advantages…everyone acts like family to each other most of the time…of course, I mean that in a good way.Â
Today, Sunday, is another perfect day with lots of sunshine and 72 degrees…God is really blessing us with beautiful weather to go with all the beautiful fall colors…a really pretty time of the year for us.Â
Tomorrow I have my first physical therapy session on my arm and I’m hoping it will do wonders. I am so tired of my arm hurting like it does. Then on Tuesday we head for Abilene to spend a few days with Mom and Dad…we return on Sunday. We’re looking forward to being with them, seeing some friends, and eating at some really good restaurants. Our time will be brief, but we will manage to get a lot accomplished while there.
May you all have a blessed week, and continue to listen to God, and look at all his handiwork while out each day. I can honestly say I will be glad for the elections to end and may we select a new president that will help our country once again return to being what God would have us to be. We have to live with our choice so let’s pray we make the right one.
Blessings……..
