We’re headed home in the morning

Our time is about over and we’ll be on the big bird in the morning headed for Lexington, KY.  We’ve had a great time, enjoyed fantastic weather, ate LOTS of good food, spent a little time with Phyllis, and topped it off today by going to the country club for breakfast, the ACU football game…they won 47-17 again Midwestern and are now the Lone Star Conference Champions…and then Lorin took us to a fiddle concert at Abilene High School and it was fantastic.  It’s amazing how much talent the high school kids have…along with a professional group called Barraze that was also there.  We were all surprised, since we really had no idea what a “fiddle show” involved, but it was well worth the time.

Mom continues to suffer with a tremendous amount of pain coming from her back and the treatment to help curtail this pain has been unsuccessful thus far.  She goes back to the doctor on Wednesday and I hope they will find some way to finally help her.  Walking is very difficult and she tires quickly from just the strain of trying to walk.  Please pray for her to get some relief soon!

I’ll be back in touch once we get home.  I dread going home to cold weather but I always enjoy being back home and sleeping in my own bed.  We’ll talk again soon!

Blessings……….
