My, oh my, it’s been a long while…

I know it’s been a couple of months since I’ve been on here and a lot has gone on…all good! The first two weeks of May we got to attend the three Crockett kids graduations in three different states. We headed to Nashville on Friday the 3rd of May and stayed with Linda and Jim for a couple of days. That was so fun catching up with each other and to, also, attend Grayson’s graduation from Lipscomb on the 4th. He graduated with honors to boot! He will be teaching in a middle school starting this fall and he’s very excited about that. He will definitely be the “cool” teacher and the kids will love him. We departed Nashville on Monday the 6th and headed to Florence, AL to spend a couple of days with Carter and Lori. This is always fun and the fishing time was not great but it was fun regardless.

We hit the road again on Thursday the 9th for Oxford, MS for Meredith’s graduation from Ole Miss with a law degree…again with honors. She is currently studying for the bar exam and will take that in July. She, and Colton, will be moving to Louisville as she starts her new job as a lawyer there and he’ll be teaching in one of the magnet “all girl” schools. They have a lot to look forward to as they have bought a home and will love having more space and all the stuff that goes with a move and new jobs. We went back to Carter and Lori’s for Thursday night and then headed home on Friday the 10. Jerod graduated on the 11th from UK Medical and will begin his residency on June 16th. That family consist of super smart people and I’m so blessed to say they are all in my tribe.

Once we got the graduations completed, we were now ready for Tyler and Olivia’s wedding on the 18th. That was a very beautiful, fun filled event. Everything about it was fantastic. They had an amazing honeymoon to Italy and they are now home. He’ll be starting his new career as a commercial airline pilot this Sunday, June 16th. He’ll do well as he’s a very serious pilot and loves flying.

I finally got my spinal injection and it has helped greatly with my level of pain and my ability to walk. I know it won’t last for ever but I’m sure liking the way it’s working for now. George, and I, are both doing well considering. our age, and for that we are very thankful. We’ll be headed to Alabama on the 28th for Kelsey’s wedding on the 29th. We are traveling down there with Melissa and Byron and then we’ll be brought back home by Tanya and Daniel…another perk to being OLD. I’m looking forward to all of this and feel sure memories will be made but just praying they’ll be good ones.

We don’t really have much on the calendar after Kelsey’s wedding but I feel sure, we won’t be just sitting around. Life is good, we stay busy, and thankful for each day that comes our way. Hope your summer will be a good one and pray for good health for each of you. I “MAY” write again, at some point, but not sure …just check about once a month just in case I do blog. I love you all.

Blessings….
