Today was a rather cold day with our high of only 33 degrees…normal high is suppose to be 48 which would feel like a heat wave after today. I know winter isn’t officially here, but I can honestly say I’ve had enough and I’m ready for spring. Oh well, I guess I’ll survive.
Tomorrow I go for my final doctor’s appointment concerning my ulnar nerve. My arm is much better but it’s certainly not 100% just yet. I still sleep in my brace but only wear it during the day if I’m going to knit or crochet…which I can’t do for any length of time. I am assured that I will be able to knit and crochet in the very near future so I’m trying to remain patient. While I’m in Lexington, I plan to get to Kroger’s to do a big shopping with all the other “seniors”. I hate going that day because it’s a dangerous time to be shopping, but since I’m going to be in the area I’m going to risk it.Â
I’ve been busy the last few days getting our house decorated for Christmas. I got rid of a lot of decorations before we moved here, so the pickings were slim but I found enough to satisfy me…the house even looks nice. The older I’m getting the more I don’t want to do all the “fluffy” stuff for the different holidays. Now if someone wants to come in and do it for me, and then put it all away after the holiday is over that would be OK. So far I haven’t found anyone willing to do that.
Have a great evening, stay warm, and find a way to share God’s love with someone that would least expect it.
Blessings…….
