What a day Saturday was at Thunder over Louisville! The air show was very LOUD but interesting to watch how those hugh planes can be flown and the speed with which they are flown. The best part of the day was being with family and friends and then top it off with the largest fireworks show in north America. We enjoyed the day with 800,000 other people and the weather was perfect. Thanks to Melissa and Byron we had the pleasure of their motor home so we really didn’t have to contend with the masses.
Jerry Page, George’s cousin from Alabama, was also in town with his daughter Kelsey…his friend had invited them up for the day and they were right on the river in one of the high rise hotels so they had the perfect view…and we enjoyed having them here for the night. Kelsey will graduate this year and is such a sweet young woman. The Lord is really working in their lives!
Today is “Clean the pantry” day and the BIG yard sale will be Saturday. Melissa, her friend Tracy, maybe Clark, and then all of our treasures will be on display. We ought to have lots to sale and hopefully nothing left over. I’ll be glad when it’s all over as this is one of my least favorite things to do.
Got to get busy…the pantry is calling…but I have to exercise first or that will not happen.
Blessings…
