Not much happening in Wilmore

Here it is the 6th of January and not much seems to be different than what was going on last year.  We do remain fat and sassy, and we’re still not very wise or wealthy, so I guess all in all life is good!  We did enjoy the holidays and seeing all but one of our kids, we also missed seeing five of our thirteen grand kids due to various reasons, but  we’re thankful for the time we did have with those available.  Life gets busy and our plates are usually overflowing, but it is good to stop and just enjoy being together as a family…even a somewhat dysfunctional family. 

I’m still counting the days until we head to warmer weather…that’s 14 to be exact!  We are once again in a cold snap but we’ve missed all the snow and ice that’s happening not far from here and I’m very happy about that.  We’ve had some really cold days but really not much snow so far.  Let’s hope it stays that way until we get out of town.

I’m going to my BeautiControl unit meeting tomorrow and I’m looking forward to seeing ladies I haven’t seen in quite some time.  It’ll be fun catching up on things and seeing some of the new stuff that’s just came out.  I still love all my BC products!

Guess there’s not much to write about so I’ll get back to my book.  We went to the library yesterday and I picked up the book “unlikely angel” by Ashley Smith.  She’s the lady that was held hostage in Atlanta by a man that had just murdered three people in the courthouse and it’s a true story.  I’m sure it’s embellished somewhat but it’s good so far.  Enjoy your week and  may this find each of you healthy and glowing in the love of our Lord.
