Lacey had her tonsils out this morning and is currently in recovery. Clark said the doctor’s said it went well and she should do well. She’ll go home tonight.  However, from watching the much younger Crockett boys, I know the next week or so will not be any fun. Everyone say a prayer for her to have quick healing, please.
Lacey also finished up her high school classes this week and will be starting in a junior college next week…another reason she has to heal quickly. Since she never really felt a part of this school in Burlington…only went 1 1/2 years….she didn’t want to go through any type of graduation exercise in the spring. She got out as quickly as possible and we’re proud of her for the goals she’s made and in completing them. She still plans to become a EMT and a firefighter for the Louisville Fire Department. This program is a two year program and she’ll do well, I’m sure.
Today is a beautiful day, lots of sunshine, made it to the mid-40’s, and no wind. We have some really cold stuff right around the corner and should make all next week really miserable. Oh the beaches are looking better daily!
George continues to be a “rent-a-husband” to a friend. He’s doing a lot of stuff for Tiffany in her wash room…shelving, installing a sink, etc. He’s also helped create a desk, etc. for their “school room” since they have just begun home schooling one of their girls. He says he’s enjoying the challenges and I know he works really hard cause he’s exhausted every night. He’s a good man, that’s for sure!
