We got up this morning (Monday morning) to a heavy fog and cool temperatures. George went for a long bike ride and I did my walk and it was very pleasant and I was thankful for the cooler temperatures. I got home and headed to the beach to see if I could soak up a little sun but it seemed somewhat useless so I came back up to the condo. Within hours (+/-) the clouds rolled back, the sun came out, and it is an absolutely gorgeous day. The beaches here are so pretty and the different colors in the water can be breathtaking. Thank you God for showing us some of your beauty! We know some rain and cooler days are predicted for later this week, but for now it’s wonderful. We also see that ice, snow, and bitter cold is once again showing itself in KY and we’re even more thankful to be here. I do feel for all our family and friends that will have to navigate through the mess of ice, snow, and then slush. Oh well, such is life!
We don’t have any plans for any day this week. We are enjoying our friends and catching up on what’s going on with each family. This should be a very enjoyable week and will fly by, I’m sure.
