We’ve had a very sunny, windy day today and enjoyed getting to visit with some more Louisville friends down the beach a ways at their condo. We saw Betty and UT Fitzgerald and Bill and Sandy Elmore along with several of their Florida friends and/or family members. We’re hoping to catch up with them at least one more time before we head out Sunday.
George and I enjoyed a good walk/run this morning and it’s amazing how much easier it is to get out to do this when the weather is warmer and the sun is shining. It sure beats the treadmill!
We feel for all you in the ice and snow areas and we’re praying for your safety should you have to go out. Tanya is going to sleep at her hospital tonight (Tuesday) so she’ll be able to even get to work tomorrow. They have had ice, several inches of snow, sleet, rain, and expecting more snow tonight. She said they still had power which is a blessing since some of her friends have had theirs knocked out. Now this is another reason it’s good to be in Florida. I do think there’s a chance of rain tomorrow and again on Thursday but that’s sure better than snow and ice. The kids are all out of school again tomorrow and they are hoping this isn’t going to take away their spring break scheduled for the end of March. Â
