UPDATES…

We got word this morning that Andrew Verble spoke yesterday…he’s the 19 year old that was in the serious car accident.  That’s a definite answer to prayers!  I also talked with my friend Geri this morning, and she’s still in a lot of pain but will be going to a rehab place sometime this weekend.  They are saying she needs more surgery on both feet/ankles, back surgery, and won’t walk for at least four months.  We’ll keep praying that healing will take place completely and quickly for her.

My sister, Linda, and I met on Tuesday to have lunch, enjoy some catching-up time, and even did a little shopping…I bought nothing and she bought a picture frame that will be a gift for someone…probably herself!  Most of the stuff in those antique stores looked like some of the stuff we had in last week’s yard sale.  So I thought it would be wise to NOT bring more stuff home for our next yard sale…heaven forbid we do that ever again!  The little, and I mean little, town we met in is about 96 miles from Louisville but well worth the drive.  We’re going to try and meet every six weeks or so to stay caught up and just to see one another.

We’re flying to Abilene to see Mom and Dad on the 23rd for a few days and looking forward to being with them.  They are both doing very well and are remarkable for people in their 80 +++ age range.

We’re going to walk in a 5K Saturday morning at our zoo and then head to Wilmore, after we come home and clean up, to see all the Crockett’s…all the boys are having ball games that day and we haven’t seen any of them play yet this year.  We’re looking forward to being with all of them.  The kids are so sweet!

Got to run get flowers to plant so our back flower beds don’t look so naked.  George removed all the annuals and we currently just have dirt…not too pretty from the golf course!

Blessings….Â
