The three inches +/- of snow we got on Thursday has come and gone…my kind of snow in that it’s gone within 24 hours of falling…but it’s still cool and now raining. Hopefully this next week we can get back into the mid to upper 60’s. Spring is trying really hard to stay put but “old man” winter is not wanting to go away. Might as well give up, because Spring will come…eventually!
I did my practice walk this morning to see if I could do a 10K (6.2miles) and I did survive it. I had to slow down the last mile or so because my back began saying it had had enough. I did complete it in 1 hour 40 minutes and I might do better within the race environment…others keep you focused and motivated. Regardless, I did it and now I know I can. Now to see what I feel like tomorrow…that may be another story all together!
Linda and Jim enjoy your time in Abilene. Remember…Dad pouts when he looses at 42…so beware! Give each other a big hug for me and I wish we were there enjoying all the fun.Â
Not much happening here in KY…other than the basketball games. Sorry for UK because they lost but UofL is still in and will shine at the end. GO CARDS!!!
Got to get back to cleaning up the house since we’re having our life group here tomorrow night. Talk again soon should I find something of interest to talk about.
