March has come and gone…

We began the month of March by leaving the warmth and sunshine of Florida, driving through a near blizzard snow storm in Georgia, and then jumping back an forth between spring and winter for the remainder of the month here in Wilmore.  We ended the month by going to the Louisville Zoo with Melissa, her four children + her nephew, Tanya and her four, and HUNDREDS of others.  It was cool and overcast but all in all a really good day.  Rain was predicted but didn’t show up until we were walking to our vans.  Therefore, this has been a good month but I’m sure ready for spring to remain everyday and we will no longer need coats or jackets!  Kentucky is beautiful in the spring with all the flowering trees, spring  flowers, and beautiful horse farms.  God did good when he made central Kentucky!

Madi is getting excited about her birthday coming up in just six more days!  She’s a sweetie and is going to be eight already.  This will be another busy month with several different events taking place.  As mentioned Madi’s birthday…George ‘s 10 mile race on the 11th to complete the triple crown events in Louisville…celebrate Easter on the 12th…going to Abilene on the 21st to visit my parents and to celebrate their 90th birthdays and 70th anniversary…returning home on the 27th and then it will be May.  Time just flies and we never want for things to do.

Time for American Idol and I’m out of news.  Hope all are well and you, too, are enjoying the beautiful sights, sounds, and smells of spring!

Blessings…….
